The recent Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, put America closer to another “New Deal” to address similar issues. This legislation is part of a tectonic shift from a hydrocarbon-based energy grid to one which supports and is powered by renewable energies — a juggernaut for the Environmental; Social; Governance transformation. Collectively, these measures have a substantial impact on industries including industrial manufacturing, construction, professional services, education, and technology. These measures also impact media and telecom, government, government contractors, real estate, and more.
The White House released “ADVANCING EQUITABLE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FOR INFRASTRUCTURE JOBS - A GUIDE TO SELECTED FEDERAL RESOURCES” in November of 2022. Highlighted Departments or Agencies include:
- The Department of Transportation.
- The Department of Energy.
- The Department of Commerce, and;
- The Environmental Protection Agency.
